She's So Shy

Not exactly sure when or where I Shazamed this song – the list has gotten pretty long and it never stops growing.

This borderline city pop track by Yuji Toriyama is all the way back from 1983, predating my existence in this reality by two years. A guitarist by trade, this track has a mellow jazzy vibe with heavy synths.

Word on the street is that if you want to dig into his catalog, a good starting spot is the compilation Choice Works 1982-1985. Expect lots of Linn LM-1, Roland TR-808, and the Roland G-505 throughout.
