Can’t say that I’m particularly versed in Gospel House. It’s something that we’d play at SuperSounds back in the day, but that skewed a bit closer to Paradise Garage than this, which is a bit more like Slave or Chic.

If you’re like me, you may have avoided anything with religious under or overtones, but… so many of the artists we love come up through their local parish. These were and continue to be musical places, where people learn and express themselves. So, I’m saying, give the tune a chance. I’m not saying you have to go to mass… because I’m not going to do that either.
