Make It Work (feat. Anderson .Paak, Asher Roth & Donnie Trumpet)

Been on a kick today of listening to Mac Ayers on the strength of Sublime Waves introducing me to his music. That blending of hip hop and r&b took me down the path of revisiting some of Anderson .Paak’s less known work from 2015 as Blended Babies.

As far as I can tell this has never been pressed to vinyl, and flew under my radar for a long time. Released right around the same time as he did his break out work with Dr. Dre, you can see where his career was headed.

So this post is about .Paak. Tomorrow I’ll give you some Mac.
