Tinseltown To The Boogiedown (Ali Shaheed Muhammad Variation)

Found this single randomly at Silver Platters in Lynnwood. I’d never heard it before, but it had Mos Def, Psycho Les, and an Ali Shaheed Muhammad and a Pete Rock remix, so I figured it was worth the five bucks. And yeah, it was. This Ali Shaheed Muhammad version is smooth. For context, this came out in 1999, one year before Lucy Pearl’s debut album.
