Living in America

Now that the USMNT has been eliminated from the World Cup in embarrassing fashion, I propose we change the song we use to represent the country. “Country Roads” is great and all, but it’s slow and only calls out one state, which really isn’t representative of the US as a whole. But you know what song fixes all of those issues? “Living in America.” Imagine the US beating some third-rate club and then this plays afterward… it’s poetic, considering the country right now is basically like Apollo Creed getting beaten to death by Ivan Drago in Rocky IV.
