Wouldn't It Be Nice - Stack-O-Vocals

So the Beach Boys are one of those groups that I honestly don’t get. I mean I’ve heard Pet Sounds, it’s fine, definitely not for me though. I grew up during the 90s so I mostly know them as being cornballs who sang Kokomo with Uncle Jesse. But I think once you strip away the music and focus on what is being done vocally on some of these songs, it’s actually quite interesting. Listen to some of those harmonies, especially leading into the second chorus. Lyrics are still corny 50s sock hop suburban music though, and nothing that I’ll listen to regularly, but I can almost see the vision at least for a brief moment.
