This is probably better known as the closing credits theme for Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Back in high school I used to sit in the audience for Late Night on several occasions — it was one of the few interesting things you could do for free in New York City.

That show, along with The Simpsons, obviously informed a lot of my comic sensibilities. And if you ever got to see the show live, you’d know that this song actually has lyrics — Conan would sing them over the closing credits and drag them out with a bunch of gibberish until he ran out of steam.
