I was today years old when I found out that this song – which I first heard watching 3 Ninjas Kick Back as a seven year old – was not a Japanese song. Nope.

It’s a famous Korean pop song. Not sure this was intentional. Then again, the whole movie is ridiculous. And it’s not hard to imagine a room full of movie executives in a pre-internet era thinking that most people wouldn’t notice.

The 90s were a wild ride.
