I was introduced to this song when I was DJing at WPGU way back in the day. At the time I was super burnt out on hip hop and was listening to downtempo and indie rock instead.

The rap show that came on before me played this one to close out one of their shows, and I remember saying “This is exactly the type of rap I like”.

We were talking about doing a collab show at some point but it never happened, oh well.
