Chase the Sun

There’s something fascinating about European sports culture that just makes it seem more impassioned and lively than its American counterparts. Probably something having to do with capitalism and individualism - but not interested in going there right now.

Around Christmas/New Years time every year, The World Darts Championship takes place at Alexandria palace (or Ally Pally as it’s affectionately known) where the best players come together to do battle - while also surrounded by the rowdiest group of Brit’s you could ever imagine wearing costumes and loaded off a probably unfathomable amount of alcohol.

Anyway, when a set ends and the tournament goes to commercial, this track is played and it’s become such apart of the cultural canon there that the entire audience starts to sing along. I mean how can you not watch this and get hype
