Tim Smooth

My memory is a bit fuzzy on some of the specifics of when I first encountered this classic Tim Smooth track. What I can tell you with certainty is that it was given to me in the summer of 1998 – for free – at a Radio Shack somewhere in North Carolina.

Why Radio Shack was giving out Tim Smooth cassette singles? I can’t answer that for you. But we gladly took it – and played it on repeat for a week. Rewinding and replaying this specific line over and over and over again to the dismay of our parents:

Cuz I funk up a room like the fumes of the wound of a dead rat

Wish I still had the cassette…

One song per day. Two hundred words or less.
