A new De La Soul album wasn’t on my radar for 2025. An album this good was definitely a surprise.

I’m happy to take some smoke on this one, but this is probably my favorite rap album front-to-back since “We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service”.

This track produced by Super Dave West is a master class in collage. Layers on layers on layers of samples. It’s perfect.
