At the time when smooth gfunk was the dominant sound coming out of Los Angeles, this crew stayed true to their abrasive, party hard, devil-may-care attitude. I mean they call themselves Tha Alkaholiks. They eventually refined their sound when they started working with Q-tip and Madlib on their sophmore album but this track really highlights the rawness of their early stuff. Drink a 40 to this one.
