Tempest

For the uninitiated, Shit Robot is the stage name of Marcus Lambkin. An Irish guy signed to DFA. This album was met with lukewarm reviews when it came out. I’m sure folks thought it was derivative of LCD Soundsystem.

With a decade of distance, I like it more than when it came out. I could also just be chasing the high of the LCD show I was at in Bend earlier this month. And this is a serviceable fix.

Here’s the last track of the album. It’s synthy with drums.
