Apparently this is a concept album about if Amy Winehouse became a battle rapper. If nothing else you can never claim that Lupe Fiasco isn’t creative - he actually teaches a course at MIT on the study of rap: “Rap Theory and Practice”.

On this track his skills are on full display - dazzling wordplay and vivid imagery over some pianos that wouldn’t feel out of place on a Nujabes album.
