Lazerray

Not long after the King Theatre in Brooklyn re-opened, I saw TV on the Radio play there. This was 2015. It was their hometown show. They were amazing.

Then they went on a long hiatus.

A few nights ago, I saw them open for LCD Soundsystem in Bend. A tight 45-minute, high energy set, that took me back to my twenties. Drinking cheap beer in Brooklyn, waiting 40+ minutes to take the PATH 2 stops after midnight.

I’m older and wiser now. I drank Budlight Seltzers and rode a bike home. It took 10 minutes. The music was still solid.
