In 2007 I studied abroad in the United Kingdom, was my first real time leaving the country for a significant amount of time and as a pseudo adult. Was an incredibly transformative experience in a number of ways but the music was a very core part of the reason why.

I visited The Warehouse Project in Manchester frequently to check out a bunch of incredible DJs and one act I remember getting a ton of play was Justice, who had just dropped Cross a few months earlier. Those songs were inescapable and for me completely captivating. It just sounded so aggressive and pristine at the same time, love at first listen really. Incredible to think that these tracks were all made in GarageBand.
