Diabolic Scheme

The Hives are one of those bands that I will see them no matter what whenever they are in town, as a result I’ve probably seen them probably close to 10 times over the years. They always put on one of the most entertaining live shows out there - how could you not love Howlin’ Pele Almqvist?

This is a bit of a left field pick, but this song jumps out to me from their discography, because it’s so different, and it kicks off with the strings and an A+ wail from Pele to grab your attention early. I think with better lyrics and a little more time in the can, this could have been a contender for a bond theme, but for what it is, a sound experiment from our my favorite Swedish punk band (apologies to Refused and Viagra Boys) it’s one worth hearing
