Double Trio

I feel inadvertently I’ve written a lot about death on this blog. It’s a facet of life, one that all of us experience through the loss of loved ones and eventually ourselves. Grief coming out of loss is a tricky thing, personally I never know how to feel, but each of us takes our own indiviual journey to deal (or not deal) with our emotions coming out of these situations. This song I feel is a perfect encapsulation of that process.

Written in the wake of the passing of Jordan Groggs, the members of Injury Reserve - Parker Corey and RiTchie with a T attempt to process their grief and move on to build something new from the remains. While Injury Reserve is no more, what comes next looks to build on that creativity unbound from past expectations and with a reignited focus and vision of the future.
